MyPDCU Credit Score uses information from TransUnion and applies the VantageScore 3.0 scoring model. Other credit scores you may see elsewhere can come from a different credit bureau or use a different scoring model, which means the number may not always match exactly.
Why scores can be different
Different credit score providers may use different data sources and different formulas to calculate a score. Even when the same general credit factors are considered, such as payment history, credit usage, and account history, the weighting can vary from one scoring model to another.
What this means for you
MyPDCU Credit Score can still be a useful tool for tracking trends in your credit over time, even if it is not identical to another score you may receive from a lender or another website. The important thing is to understand that score differences are normal.
