Compare current loan rates in one place

People Driven Credit Union makes it easier to compare current loan rates before you apply. Review rates for vehicle loans, home equity loans, mortgages, personal loans, credit cards, secured loans, and personal lines of credit.

All rates shown are starting rates. Rates are subject to change at any time. Your actual APR* may vary based on creditworthiness, loan amount, loan term, collateral, and other underwriting factors. Membership and eligibility requirements apply.

People Driven Credit Union offers loan rates on 10 types of loans, all in one place. Whether you are buying a car, financing a home, building credit, or covering an unexpected expense, you can see every current rate on this page before you apply.

PDCU is a member-owned Michigan credit union, which means no outside shareholders. Any margin we earn goes back into serving members through rates and services, not into outside pockets. That is the structural difference between a credit union and a bank, and it shows up on pages like this one.

All rates shown are the starting point. Your actual APR is determined by your creditworthiness, the loan amount, and in some cases the age and condition of the collateral. Rates are updated regularly and subject to change. A 0.25% rate discount is included in the rates shown for members who enroll in AutoPay with direct deposit from a PDCU checking or savings account.

Membership is required to apply. Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Michigan is eligible to join, along with relatives of current members. Membership starts with a $5 deposit into a Share Savings Account.

How to compare loan rates

Look at more than the APR*

Loan rates are usually listed as “as low as” APR*. That means the rate shown is the starting point, not a guaranteed rate for every borrower.

When comparing loan rates, look at more than the APR*. The loan term, monthly payment, fees, collateral requirements, and whether the rate is fixed or variable can all affect the total cost of borrowing.

  • APR* shows the annual cost of borrowing
  • Shorter terms may have higher payments but lower total interest
  • Longer terms may lower the payment but increase total interest
  • Collateral type and age can affect secured loan rates
  • Variable rates can change after the loan is opened
  • Fees and closing costs may apply to some loan types

What affects your loan rate?

Your actual rate is based on more than the rate table. PDCU reviews your application, credit profile, loan amount, loan term, and collateral details when applicable.

  • Your creditworthiness
  • The amount borrowed
  • The repayment term
  • The type of loan
  • The value, age, and condition of collateral
  • Loan-to-value ratio for home equity and vehicle loans
  • Whether you qualify for available rate discounts

The rate table is a helpful starting point. Your final rate and term are determined after application review and approval.

AutoPay rate discount

Some PDCU loan rates include a 0.25% rate discount for members who enroll in AutoPay with direct deposit from a PDCU checking or savings account.

To qualify, members must have direct deposit of payroll, Social Security, or retirement income and set up AutoPay from a People Driven Credit Union checking or savings account. Eligibility and approval requirements apply.
