One-Time Holiday Skip-a-Payment!

Close up of a PDCU Visa Rewards Driven Credit Card eligible for the Holiday Skip-a-Payment offer.

The holiday season brings extra expenses. People Driven Credit Union is giving eligible credit card holders the opportunity to skip their December minimum payment and keep a little more cash in their pocket when they need it most.

How the Holiday Skip-a-Payment Works

If you are eligible, you will see a notification on your November credit card statement letting you know you can skip your minimum payment for December. Eligible cards will show a $0 minimum payment due for that month. No action is required on your part. The skip is applied automatically.

If you prefer to make a payment in December you are welcome to do so. It simply will not count as paying ahead. Your January statement will reflect the regular minimum amount due.

Please note that finance charges continue to accrue during the skipped payment period. Skipping your December payment does not reduce the balance on your card or the interest that accumulates during that time.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Holiday Skip-a-Payment your PDCU credit card must meet all of the following:

Your account must be in good standing at the time of the offer.

You must have held your PDCU credit card for a minimum of six months.

Delinquent accounts and accounts with certain status flags are not eligible.

If you are eligible, the notification will appear on your November statement. If you do not see the notification, your account does not qualify for the offer this year.

Why PDCU Offers This

December is one of the most financially demanding months of the year for most families. Gift purchases, travel, holiday meals, and end-of-year expenses all land at once. A skipped minimum payment will not solve a tight budget, but it can provide a small amount of breathing room at exactly the right time. That is the intent behind the offer.

Questions?

If you have questions about your eligibility or want to confirm the details of your offer, contact our Member Services team at 844-700-7328 or visit any of our five Michigan branch locations.

Happy holidays from your PDCU family.
