Memorial Day: Our Hours and Reflections

Honoring Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the actual cost of freedom, and we are deeply grateful.

To observe the holiday, People Driven Credit Union will be closed on Saturday, May 24, and Monday, May 26, 2025. We will reopen with regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27.

Although our branches will be closed, you can still access your accounts anytime through Online Banking at my.peopledrivencu.org or the MyPDCU mobile app.

The Meaning Behind Memorial Day

Memorial Day isn’t just the unofficial start of summer, it’s a time to remember those who gave their lives in military service. Their sacrifice protects the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Originally observed after the Civil War, Memorial Day has become a national tradition. It invites us to reflect, express gratitude, and show respect to our fallen heroes.

Many people mark the day by visiting cemeteries, attending parades, or simply pausing for a quiet moment of thanks. However you choose to observe it, the spirit of the day remains the same: honor and remembrance.

Thank You to Our Heroes

We thank all who have served and sacrificed. We also recognize the families who carry their legacy forward. Your strength and dedication inspire us.

Wishing you and your family a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.
