Beware of phishing texts requesting sensitive banking information.

We Will Never Request Information via Text

Recently some PDCU members have received phishing texts requesting sensitive banking information. We want to emphasize that People Driven Credit Union will never ask for your personal or banking information via text message.

Your security is our top priority, and we are committed to ensuring the safety of your financial information. If you receive any text messages claiming to be from People Driven Credit Union and asking for your banking details, please be aware that these are fraudulent attempts to obtain your information.

To safeguard your personal and financial data from phishing texts, please remember the following:

  • We Will Never Request Information via Text: People Driven Credit Union will never ask you to provide sensitive information such as account numbers, passwords, or PINs through text messages.
  • Exercise Caution: If you receive a text that seems suspicious or requests personal information, do not respond. Instead, contact our customer service immediately.
  • Verify the Source: If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a text, contact People Driven Credit Union directly using the official contact information provided on our website or other official channels.

If you shared your card number or clicked a suspicious link, treat your card as compromised. Report it immediately. To report a lost or stolen debit card any time, call 888-241-2510. Available 24 hours.
