Interactive Teller Machines: ATM Access and Live Teller Help

Interactive Teller Machine at a People Driven Credit Union branch drive-thru.

People Driven Credit Union has replaced traditional branch ATMs with Interactive Teller Machines. ITMs give you two ways to bank from the drive-thru: use the machine on your own for quick ATM-style transactions, or connect with a live teller when you want personal assistance.

This gives you more control over how you bank. Use self-service when the transaction is simple. Tap the screen for a live teller when you need help, have a question, or want a little guidance. No awkward guessing game required.

What Is an Interactive Teller Machines?

An Interactive Teller Machine is a drive-thru banking terminal that combines many ATM features with live video teller service. It can be used for common self-service transactions, and it can also connect you with a real PDCU teller during live teller hours.

Think of it as ATM convenience with people-powered help when you need it.

Can I Use an ITM Like an ATM?

Yes. Interactive Teller Machines can be used for many of the same everyday transactions members used to complete at a traditional ATM.

Self-service ITM functions are available 24/7, subject to machine availability.

How Do ITMs Work in the Drive-Thru?

Drive up to the ITM as you would at a traditional drive-thru ATM. For simple transactions, you can use self-service mode to complete your banking on your own.

If you want live help, press the on-screen button to connect with a PDCU teller in eServices. The teller will appear on screen and guide you through your transaction.

What You Can Do at an ITM

  • Withdraw cash
  • Deposit checks
  • Deposit cash
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Make loan payments
  • Check account balances

When to Use the Live Teller Option

If you want help with your transaction, press the button on the ITM screen to connect with a live PDCU teller by video. The teller can walk you through the transaction and help answer questions while you are at the machine.

Live teller service is helpful when:

  • You are using an ITM for the first time
  • You need help completing a deposit or payment
  • You have a question about your transaction
  • You prefer to work with a person instead of using self-service

  • ITMs do not accept or dispense coin.
  • ITMs cannot print corporate checks or money orders.

Other Ways to Bank

You can also manage many everyday banking tasks through online banking, the MyPDCU app, or inside a branch during business hours.
