At People Driven Credit Union, our coin machines make it simple to turn loose change into cash or a deposit, and best of all, coin-counting is free for People Driven Credit Union members.

Free for Members
Coin machines are free for People Driven Credit Union members to use. It’s one of those small perks that can make a surprisingly big difference—especially if you’ve been saving coins for months (or, let’s be honest, years).
If You Cash In Your Coins There is No Rolling or Sorting Needed
Good news: you don’t need to roll your coins anymore.
Just bring your loose change in, pour it into the machine, and let it do the counting for you. That means:
- No paper wrappers
- No sorting by coin type
- No late-night coin-rolling marathon at the kitchen table

Coin machines are available at PDCU’s Southfield, Warren, and Ypsilanti branches during regular business hours. The Romeo branch does not currently have a coin machine. Check branch hours before you head out so your trip goes smoothly.

Once your coins are counted, deposit the total into a dedicated PDCU savings account so it keeps building.
